We hope that you will enjoy the Great British Baking and Cooking class, and will use some of the skills that you will learn.
You will be given a recipe pack with all the information that you require to prepare for cakes, pastries and main dishes each week with the help and demonstration of your tutor.
It would be advisable to weigh and measure your ingredients that you will be bringing along to each of the classes beforehand, in order to maximise the use of class time.
The following items will be supplied for your use during each class:
- Greaseproof paper
- Paper muffin / cup cake cases
- All cake tins, flan rings and small bakery equipment
- Knives and fully equipped home economics kitchen
Other items that you should bring to your class are as follows:
- Two kitchen tea towels
- A suitable apron to protect your clothes
- A large plastic container with lid to get your “creations” home
It would be most helpful and appreciated if you could leave your work station clean and tidy when you are finished your class for the evening.
If you have any questions about the class, please do not hesitate to ask Walter McCrindle, your class tutor.
Our aim is for you r o have fun and enjoy your evening, whilst picking up a few practical cookery skills and interesting recipes along the way.
